MyShoppingList - Android app

Blur mind, can't remember what to buy when doing shopping this android app might help you as it unable you to instantly create a shopping list. It is environment friendly as you don't need to write you shopping list on a piece of paper where you will throw it away after shopping is done. This android app is compatible with almost every android API. Moreover it doesn't drain the device battery with background process

Splash screen will appear for about 3 second when the application is starting up



Home Activity

Simple navigation drawer with menu that can perform the following functions:
  1. Create List - create new list and add items with quantity and price. The total price will be automatically calculated
  2. Generate List - based on preference, a list of items will be generated
  3. View List - view all the lists and items related to a specific list
  4. Add Category - New item and need to associate it with a new category, you can add new category in this section.



Add new list and items

Add the list title with each item you want to add then click on the button "ADD ITEM", the application will automatically calculate the total price for each item based on user input.



You can select an item category from the wild range of categories offered by the application and





There is also validation for each item in a list you can't add an item twice in a list. A toast will be displayed to inform the user that the item is already in the list.
For example if you want to add "MILK" which is already exist in our current list a toast will be displayed


After all the lists are added you can click of the save list button to save the list with all the items and view them in the "VIEW LIST" section



View list



To view items in a list, simply click on the list 





If a particular list is not in use anymore you can click on the delete button to remove the list and related items with it.


Generate Shopping List

Based on you preferences the app will generate a list of items that you more frequently purchased 







Click on an item to edit its details such as item name, quantity and price. After that click on the update button to save the item in the list. The total price of each item will be automatically calculated.



If you want to add a new item in the list then click on the button "ADD ITEM" then the desirable details




When update is complete then click on the "SAVE LIST" button to open a pop-up dialog that will unable the user to save the list with a suitable title.
